Betsy, a native Mississippian, has always been an artist.  Her creativity has taken on many forms, including a career in interior design.  But her first love was always art.

"I am inspired by all things around me, whether it be the ocean, landscapes, birds, or simple things like bowls!  To form and create such things on a canvas is what I love."

Betsy studies under Master artist Bob Tompkins.  She has also studied under Master Artists Roger Dale Brown and Stephanie Birdsall.

Betsy is a member of Mississippi Oil Painters Association, Oil Painters of America, and The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.

Betsy was selected as a featured artist in the 2018 Juried Art Show of Mississippi, and her painting received People’s Choice.

Whether in still life, nature, or abstract, Betsy’s eye for color and design is obvious.

Betsy's art is represented at Jackson Street Gallery, Ridgeland, MS, Foster's Gallery in Grand Blvd., Miramar Beach, FL, and JLeon Gallery, Miramar Beach.

Betsy and her husband Bill presently reside in Mississippi and Miramar Beach, FL
